Sarah Clark

Counsel

Sarah concentrates her practice on the defense of physicians, hospitals, and healthcare providers in medical malpractice and general liability matters. She has represented providers in all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation counsel, to taking and defending depositions, to drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and at trial. Sarah takes pride in serving her clients across the state with detail-oriented, research-based advice and counsel, based on her years of experience in healthcare litigation.

Prior to her work defending healthcare providers, Sarah served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph M. Hood in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, where she gained valuable insight into how to communicate legal reasoning and argument effectively and successfully. She earned her law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law, and was selected by her peers to serve as Editor-in-Chief of the Kentucky Law Journal, the nation’s tenth-oldest continually published law review. Prior to law school, Sarah taught middle school English and Reading in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, as a 2009 Corps Member for Teach for America.
