Rebecca Schupbach brings more than three decades of litigation and advisory experience to her clients, with a distinguished career focused on the defense of complex product liability, toxic tort, legal and medical malpractice, trucking accident, and personal injury claims. Known for her strategic advocacy and courtroom acumen, Ms. Schupbach has secured numerous defense verdicts and favorable appellate outcomes throughout her career.

In addition to her trial work, she has advised national and regional corporate clients on a wide range of regulatory and compliance issues involving OSHA, the FDA, the TTB, and the CPSC. Her practice also includes litigation involving ERISA benefits, as well as health and safety, insurance, environmental, and labeling matters.

Before co-founding Napier Gault Schupbach & Moore in 2013, Ms. Schupbach was a partner at two of Kentucky’s leading law firms and served as Senior Attorney and Assistant Secretary for Brown-Forman Corporation. She earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where she was a member of the Kentucky Law Journal and the National Moot Court Team, and holds a B.A. with highest honors from the University of Kentucky.

She is AV Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell, has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Kentucky Super Lawyers®, and was named among Louisville’s Top Lawyers in Product Liability Defense. She has served in leadership roles within the Louisville Bar Association, the Citizens for Better Judges initiative, and the Kentucky Bar Association Ethics Committee.

    Ms. Schupbach has tried over two dozen cases in Kentucky and Tennessee during her practice and has obtained defense verdicts or verdicts generally favorable to her clients in most of those cases. She has also argued multiple cases to the Kentucky Court of Appeals and Kentucky Supreme Court and has obtained favorable results in most of those cases.

    Ms. Schupbach has defended various defendants in over a hundred cases and has prepared many of those cases for trial before obtaining favorable resolutions for her clients.
